KST's bobbin heaters are designed and fabricated based on numerous years of experience in the heating industry. The heaters reliability and durability are proven by their users' satisfaction in the various types of industries.
Resistance wire grade NiCr 80:20 coil is evenly wound over the bobbin ceramic supporting core and returned to the terminals at a single end. The entire bobbin heater is inserted into a stainless steel (sheating) pipe that is mounted onto the tank/container. With this method, the heater is safely isolated from the material inside the tank by the stainless steel pipe. Thus, it improves the lifespan of the heater significantly.Besides, it also provides the convenience of replacing the heater without having to drain out material from the tank. However, since the heater is not in contact with the material, heat conduction is slower and the wattage density is also lower compared to an immersion heater that is directly in contact with the material.
